Trip to the beach

On saturday early in the morning we started a trip to the beach of Warnemünde to have a picnic with my two kids, my niece and a friend. The weather was fine, not too hot yet and not too cold, nearly perfect. The only one which missed, was the sun. Well, you can't have everything and I think I'm a little bit spoilt by the sunshine which we had in the last weeks. The seawater had the perfect temperature with 22 degree and the waves were great and bigger than usual. The kids were all square and had a lot of fun on the beach and in the water. Just Paul choosed to stay out of the water and to play with his sand toys because of the big waves which were a bit fishy for him. At least the kids entered the very popular climbing frame at the beach. On the way back we ascended the top of the lighthouse and could enjoy the view over the beach and the promenade of Warnemünde.
